Rugged hand-held computers: These rugged computers can be used for the following applications: Data entry to an application, Inventory, Delivery and receipt of packages, Mobile sales team, Product and process checking on a factory, Field workers from companies as electrical, gas, water, TV, Internet, Hospital workers, pharmaceutical industry.
Wireless data collectors: These bar code scanners are very simple to use, with keyboards varying from one, two or even more than ten different keys for easier input. The scanners have Bluetooth, Infra-red or docked USB communication for different methods of data downloads. Have a small LCD screen for visualizing the parameters. Also have an internal memory that’s able to collect the data before downloading it to the computer. They are fully programmable and read 1D or 2D bar codes.
